2024 Newsletter 3
Hello Everyone!
As you can see, this newsletter is quite short and looks a bit different from what our newsletters usually do. Our summer was very busy and that busyness has continued on into the fall, and we are doing our best to catch up!
Here is a brief update about our summer and what has gone on in the last couple of months. In July we toured to Saskatchewan and Alberta for a few events, and August we focused on things closer to home. We will go into more detail about our summer tours in our next newsletter closer to Christmas time.
The reason this newsletter is behind is because we have had quite a few technical issues. In putting together this newsletter, Nikki’s laptop could no longer support the programs and was having multiple other issues which prevented her from being able to finish the newsletter. As a result she needed to wait for a new laptop ,so that she could complete this newsletter.
Behind the scenes many of our members have been struggling with health issues, which has also made it difficult to keep up at times. For some it is learning to adjust to a new diagnosis, which requires a change in lifestyle, and for others it is daily symptoms from a long term health battle. One of our members under went surgery in August, and needed time to recover following that surgery. As a group, we are working very hard to get our footing and keep pushing forward as the Christmas season comes upon us.
Thank you so much for all of your continued support! We would greatly appreciate continued prayer for our health, and for the work God has graciously provided for us to do. As well as for our fundraiser coming up in November.
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
